Inside Sales Representative

Salary: $55,000 annually

Overview

We're looking for a motivated Inside Sales Representative to support customer acquisition and revenue growth. This role focuses on outbound outreach, lead management, and converting inquiries generated through marketing. The position reports to the VP of National Sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet sales goals related to new clients and revenue.
• Make outbound calls to prospects and follow up with leads from the CRM and marketing campaigns.
• Handle inbound calls from advertising efforts and convert them to new business opportunities.
• Research prospects, identify key contacts, and maintain an organized database.
• Manage leads through all stages of the sales cycle with timely follow-up.
• Build and maintain strong broker and client relationships.
• Stay current on product offerings, market trends, and competitor activity.
• Support the outside sales team when needed.
• Document all interactions accurately in internal systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
• 2+ years in sales, including outbound or cold-calling experience.
• Knowledge of the health insurance or benefits industry is a plus.
• Strong communication, time-management, and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Salesforce experience preferred.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work independently.
